    Specialty Sites

    Everywhere I look this week, I seem to see specialty sites. For example, Bigwigs.net, is a site that lists only jobs based on 100K+ a year compenasation level. So, if your resume commands this type of salary - you can post and edit it on the site and search their jobs. You must create a free account to submit your resume, you can search job offering without registering.

    Women For Hire was founded in June 1999 by Tory Johnson, after serving in corporate communications positions at ABC News, NBC News and Nickelodeon, a division of Viacom. Women For Hire produces career fairs for entry level, middle and senior management job seekers in several markets. Below is their description of what they do:

      "Women For Hire events enable America's leading companies across all lines of business to meet one-on-one with a coveted pool of talent in all disciplines. This is a tremendous service at a time when workplace diversity is essential and recruiting is highly competitive. Our one-day events pair recruiters from a mix of Fortune 1000s, Internet companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies with female college seniors and experienced professionals."
    Most of the Spring Schedule has passed, two remain in Chicago and Boston.
      Chicago - March 29
      Boston - April 3
    You can post and edit your resume on thier site.
