We began our life in the very early days of the web. It was possible, back then, to imagine seeing all of the existing web pages. For a while, we knew everyone who was doing anything. Each day, the web grew and keeping up seemed further and further out of reach.

It hasn't changed much in that regard.

During the early months of 1994, IBN: interbiznet.com arrived at a clear focus. We intended then (and still do!) to chronicle, analyze and report on the evolution of Electronic recruiting. We believed then (as we do now) that the single most profound impact of the web will be on how we work, get work and change work.

It was obvious to us that the web wasn't really World Wide at all.

Rather, the web has a kind of regional flavor. Whether it's your neighborhood, profession or leisure interests, the vastness of the web forces you to stay close to home (so to speak).

Over the intervening years, we've become widely recognized as the experts on Electronic Recruiting. We publish three free daily newsletters on the subject. We also publish a comprehensive annual look at the industry. We've delivered seminars and speeches on the subject all over the country. Our private subscription website is central to the continuing education of some of the industry's most successful recruiters.
