SECURE

Surfing
a Secure site? Here are some of the ways to make certain if you're
surfing a secure site. First, check the URL, it's a secure
server if it starts with http:// and it uses the Secure Sockets
Layer security supported by Netscape. Second, get a glance at the
security icon which is a gold key in the bottom left-hand corner
of the Navigator's window. It's not a secure site, if the key is broken.
If however the key is intact and has a blue background, the accessed
site is secured. Also keep an eye on a blue line outlining Navigator's
window. Notice intently at that key's teeth because one tooth
equals medium-status security and two-teeth equals high-status encryption.
