Press Releases: Serco Wins Position on Two U.S. Army HR Solutions ID/IQ Contracts Serco Inc., announced that the U.S. Army has awarded the Company two indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts - HR solutions Recruiting & Retention Support Services and Personnel Services Support of Human Resources Services. Reston, VA (Vocus) December 27, 2010 -- Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services to the federal government, announced that the U.S. Army has awarded the Company two indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts - HR solutions Recruiting & Retention (R&R) Support Services and Personnel Services Support of Human Resources Services (PSS). The R&R contract has a ceiling value of $274 million over a five-year period, one-year base and four one-year option periods. The PSS contract has a ceiling value of $1.3 billion over a five-year period, one-year base and four one-year option periods. Both ID/IQs have multiple awardees that can compete on upcoming task orders. These wins help position Serco to continue to grow its working relationship with the Army as it relates to human resource programs and systems. Under the R&R contract, Serco will have the opportunity to compete for work with a focus on business management services, program analysis, information technology, counseling, and processing and training. Serco will support in the area of information technology as it relates to the program, outreach and training for the Army. For the PSS contract, Serco will compete for tasks to provide transition support and processing, counseling, wounded warrior programs, and family community programs. The company will help the Army Human Resource programs and systems focused on the personnel life-cycle during their time in the military.
