Kids II Volunteers at Camp Twin Lakes
Local company helps camp prepare for children with serious illnesses and life challenges
ATLANTA - (August 20, 2010) - Today, more than twenty-five Kids II corporate employees will trade in their Blackberries™ for brooms and head to camp for the day. However, they won't be canoeing and doing arts and crafts. Instead, they will be cleaning cabins, repairing fences, and helping Camp Twin Lakes get ready for its off-season schedule of camp operations.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Kids II Foundation. During the past five years, the foundation has helped to support kids in need through partnerships with charitable organizations, volunteer efforts within the local communities, and donating toys and products to children in need. This year Kids II has partnered with Camp Twin Lakes to man phones at their annual Radiothon and to sponsor a work day.
"Our foundation has existed for five years and we couldn't be more excited to add Camp Twin Lakes to our list of partners. Kids II understands the importance of giving back and when it comes to Georgia's kids, we're committed to providing the time and money needed to help," said Ryan Gunnigle, Kids II CEO and President.
The Kids II Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their families through philanthropic programs.
