School of Risk Control Excellence Webinar series for the month of May.
Offered on a complimentary basis to CNA producers, policyholders and
potential customers, the Webinars help participants better understand
various business risks and applicable risk control solutions.
This month's featured Webinars respond to the specific needs of the
manufacturing and construction industries. Following is a list of

Drugs & Alcohol on the Job: What Do Employers Need to Know? -
May 7
Research indicates that illicit drug use and alcohol/drug dependence

Electrical Arc Flash Safety and Risk Management - May 11
Electrical losses can impact equipment, workers and business costs. Joe
Weigel, from Schneider Electric, will present an overview of the NFPA
70E 2009 Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. He will also
discuss facility and employer responsibilities for compliance to the
NFPA 70E Standards, and the current status of OSHA's enforcement.
Labels and Warnings in Product Liability Prevention - May 17
The most common allegation in a product liability lawsuit is that of a
failure to warn. CNA Risk Control will share the latest changes in
labels, warnings and instruction standards, and how to maintain product
liability prevention.
Managing the Latino Workforce - May 21
According to Hector Escarcega of Bilingual Solutions International,
effective intercultural communication creates a profitable workplace.
Escarcega will discuss quality, production and safety, and provide
valuable insight for closing the communication and cultural gap when
training and communicating with your Spanish-speaking workforce.
Motion is Money - Building your Business Economy - May 27
This Webinar is designed to help you recognize how the aging workforce
affects your business operations and how motion in the work environment
affects productivity, efficiency, and bottom line profitability.
