CNA Announces Free Risk Control Webinars for Manufacturing and Construction Industries

CHICAGO--(May 04, 2010)--The Risk Control unit of CNA insurance companies recently announced its School of Risk Control Excellence Webinar series for the month of May. Offered on a complimentary basis to CNA producers, policyholders and potential customers, the Webinars help participants better understand various business risks and applicable risk control solutions.

This month's featured Webinars respond to the specific needs of the manufacturing and construction industries. Following is a list of classes/topics and the corresponding dates (all classes are offered at 2 p.m. Eastern Time):

Drugs & Alcohol on the Job: What Do Employers Need to Know? - May 7

Research indicates that illicit drug use and alcohol/drug dependence vary across industries and occupations. Mary Hines, president of SAPAA (Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association), and CNA Risk Control will discuss drug and alcohol use in various industries and what employers need to know about how this impacts the workplace. Electrical Arc Flash Safety and Risk Management - May 11
