(February 23, 2010) -- The recruitment industry overwhelmingly expects 2010 to be a year of sunny skies and good news in the wake of the economic recession, according to a new market study by Sendouts, the leading, single-source provider of staffing and recruiting software for third-party recruiting and staffing firms.

"Perhaps because of the flood of candidates into the market during the recession, recruiters don't expect the volume of candidates to rise equal to the number of job orders in 2010," said Don Breckenridge, Jr., President of Sendouts. The survey also found that compared with 2009, significant numbers of recruiters expect 2010 to bring:
Increased candidate volume
Better candidate quality
Fees to stay the same or increase
Purchase of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution

When asked specifically about changes they see for acquiring new candidates in 2010:

27 percent of all respondents said they expect to add staff
23 percent said they expect to add new technology
10 percent said they expect to outsource
