Monster.com Opens New Customer Service Facility in Florence, South Carolina

New Centralized Center Boosts Monster's Efforts to Provide Best-in-Industry Service to Its North America customers

FLORENCE, S.C. & MAYNARD, Mass.--Representatives from the Florence County Economic Development Partnership, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Red Rock Developments and Monster.com today celebrated the grand opening of Monster's new customer service facility in Florence, South Carolina. Monster is the leading global online career and recruitment resource and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW).

Developed by Red Rock Developments and located at 2701 Alex Lee Blvd in Florence, SC, the 75,000 square foot building currently employs approximately 150 full-time employees with the ability to grow staff over time. Monster opened a temporary facility in Florence in October 2008 and has been recruiting talent and conducting training efforts since the initial announcement in June 2008.

"The opening of this customer support service center represents our continued efforts to centralize our operation and to always ensure our customers get best-in-class service and support," said Art O'Donnell, executive vice president, Global Customer Services, Monster. "We chose Florence because it has the talent, standard of living and educational resources we needed to bring premier service to our customers. This opening represents another major milestone for Monster as we continue to expand our products and services to help connect job seekers and employers."
