As demand for content grows, Derek Fisher joins UBA, bringing journalistic background to corporate communications.
United Benefit Advisors, (UBA) the nation’s leading independent employee benefits advisory organization, announces the hiring of Derek Fisher as its new Communications Manager. Fisher assumes the position formerly held by Bryan Snyder, and brings a wealth of journalistic experience to the management of internal and corporate communications.
Fisher will play a vital role in crafting internal email communications as well as documents on the organization’s Wisdom Network, where UBA’s proprietary information is shared. He will also be responsible for assisting in the writing and editing of blog posts on the increasingly popular UBA blog, as well as other external outlets where UBA has a presence.
Fisher previously held the positions of editor, managing editor, and news director with various organizations, and has extensive experience as a freelance writer, with work appearing in more than thirty-five publications, including newspapers, websites, and magazines.
