Northern California McDonald's Restaurants Set to Hire Several Employees on April 19th
Local Hiring Effort Part of National Initiative to Hire Up to 50,000 McDonald's Restaurant Managers and Crew
McDonald's restaurants are looking to hire approximately 2,000 new crew and restaurant management positions throughout Northern California, the Bay Area, Central Valley and Northern Nevada as part of a national hiring program on April 19.
"Our business continues to grow in this area, and we want to provide our customers with an even better experience in all of our Northern California restaurants. This initiative will help us reach that goal." This one-day event is part of a nationwide initiative for McDonald's and its franchisees – the target, hire up to 50,000 new employees at restaurants across the country.
The new positions will include a combination of both seasonal and sustaining full-time and part-time positions based upon individual restaurant needs.
For interested applicants who want to learn more about the McDonald's work experience, McDonald's current employees have volunteered to proudly share their "Why I Love My McJob" stories online at www.McDonalds.com/Careers.

"With an unemployment rate of 12 percent in our area, this hiring day initiative will allow local citizens an opportunity to acquire a job and a possible long-term career with a strong brand," said Steve Ramirez, a local McDonald's restaurant owner from Elk Grove. "Our business continues to grow in this area, and we want to provide our customers with an even better experience in all of our Northern California restaurants. This initiative will help us reach that goal."
