SmartSearch partners with Superior Group
(September 7, 2012) SmartSearch partners with Superior Group to deliver full spectrum of workforce and business solutions
Advanced Personnel Systems, Inc. (APS), the maker of SmartSearch recruiting business software, works with one of its largest customers, Superior Group, an international workforce solutions company to keep pace with changes in technology, market trends and best practices by continually adding new integrations and functionality that bring all their front and back-office pieces together.
As a forward-thinking organization, Superior Group is an early adopter of new technology and has partnered with APS in the development of SmartSearch. Superior's team of recruiting and sales experts make suggestions, and are often tapped to help assess new functionality and integrations by working closely with the SmartSearch software innovators to drive product evolution.

Since 1989, SmartSearch has supported the growth of Superior Group's business with strategic integrations for both talent acquisition and customer relationship management. SmartSearch integration with leading job boards and social networking sites enables Superior to post jobs to many major external sites—such as Monster.com and CareerBuilder—and search their resume databases. Superior recruiters are also able to post jobs and network within social media giants Twitter and LinkedIn without leaving SmartSearch. This ensures that Superiors' employees achieve the highest productivity possible by obviating the need for users to master numerous interfaces and systems and keep track of myriad account information and passwords. In 2011, SmartSearch partnered with Superior Group and its SAP implementation team to develop a custom integration that facilitates the flow of critical information from SmartSearch into SAP. SmartSearch Version 16 added Monster Power Resume Search capability and ProveIt! candidate assessment testing and results tracking from within the application.

The SmartSearch recruiting software is best known for the ability to seamlessly integrate with existing systems and applications for managing all employment-related information from one easy-to-use interface. The system shares data via XML or web services to export/import information and facilitate exchange of information to a number of HRIS, ERP, payroll, and accounting systems. Data exports can include new hires, pay changes, terminations, timecards, expenses, approval routing, and more. In addition, SmartSearch supports integration with many internal and external applications—such as Outlook and virtually any email server, as well as VoIP, text messaging, background checking, and pre-employment assessment vendors, and more —creating the optimum platform for sharing information, eliminating duplicate data entry, and ensuring data integrity.
