2011 TekTonic Award Winners Revealed at HR Demo Show
(June 1, 2011) Industry Innovator Workday Tops This Year's List
HRO Today magazine announced the 2011 TekTonic Award winners at The HR Demo Show, the premier event showcasing in-depth demonstrations of the latest HR software. The annual TekTonic Awards recognize companies delivering ground-shaking innovation in HR software and technology. The category and overall winners were announced on May 25, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The overall winner is Workday. Workday was deemed as the most innovative approach to HR as a business as well as provider of streamlined software. Workday is the only company to repeat as a TekTonic Award winner.
The category winners are:

Talent Management/Recruiting: Kenexa for its Kenexa BrassRing offering that enables candidates to apply for job openings over mobile platforms such as the iPad.
Performance Management: iCIMS for its Employee Management Module, which offers the ability to track and manage historical data with the click of a button.
Compensation (Payroll, Benefits): ADP for GlobalView, a service enabled software platform of its HRO division that is available in more than 40 countries.
Learning: Halogen Software delivers the ability to customize learning plans to address specific skill gaps based on performance reviews and personnel appraisals coupled with simple managerial tools for managing and tracking goals, employee evaluations and assessments, succession plans, compensation adjustments, coaching and employee development.
HR Social Media: With some of the best recruiting products and corporate communities, LinkedIn is redefining the category of HR social media.
Vendor Management Solutions: Fieldglass' Visualizer application provides best-in-class data cube driven analytics and flexibility in generating customizable reports.
Workforce Management: Kronos brings the mobile revolution to workforce management with Workforce Mobile Manager and Workforce Mobile Employee.
Workforce Planning: Peoplestreme's tool budgets and plans the way in which executives think. The latest revision allows forecasting by alternate business strategy and alternate scenarios under different sets of gap analyses and human capital risk assessments.
HRMS Suites: Epicor's true SaaS HRMS features a clean and uncluttered interface and advanced reporting tools with easy-to-use report builders.
