The Workforce Institute Board Adds New Members

(February 17, 2011) Former SHRM President and CEO Susan Meisinger Joins The Workforce The Workforce Institute at Kronos Incorporated, a think tank dedicated to discovering and advancing best practices in managing the workforce, today announced that it has added three new members to its board of advisors.

"We are excited to add Josh, Karen, and Susan to our distinguished board and look forward to continuing to lead the charge in addressing human capital management issues that affect both hourly and salaried employees." News Facts

The newest members of The Workforce Institute board are:
Josh Bersin, chief executive officer and president, Bersin & Associates. Founded in 2001, the firm provides research and advisory services focused on corporate learning as well as expert advice on enterprise learning and talent management.

Karen Brennan-Holton, director, Accenture Talent & Organization Performance. Brennan-Holton has been with Accenture for 16 years and has spent the past eight years focused on workforce management and HR projects.

Susan Meisinger, SPHR, former president and chief executive officer of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest professional association devoted to human resource management. Meisinger is currently a columnist for Human Resource Executive and serves as a consultant on executive management issues.

The new board members join the following existing members:

    Ruth N. Bramson, chief executive officer, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts

    Mark Lange, technology entrepreneur, strategy consultant, and award-winning columnist

    Mark Milliron, deputy director of higher education for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and chief executive officer of Catalyze Learning International

    Dr. Tim Porter-O'Grady, senior partner, Tim Porter-O'Grady Associates, Inc.; associate professor, leadership scholar, Arizona State University; visiting scholar, University of Maryland

    Yang Weigo, professor and assistant dean of the Labor and Human Resources School, Renmin University of China

    Tian Xin Min, associate professor and associate dean, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Supporting Quotes
