Top 5 Management Failures and Remedies for Success

The findings in this report address the reasons front line managers fail, explore the symptoms of at risk management personnel, and offer specific remedies and action steps to avoid derailment and improve business management performance.

In todays business climate where margins are tight and competition for market share is fierce, top managers are often responsible for managing the change and strategic business management shifts required to remain profitable, stated Jim Sirbasku, co founder and CEO of Profiles International. Ironically, the times when managers need to perform at their best are the very times they are more likely to fail. The challenge of change is compounded by the fact that the higher managers rise in an organization, the more likely they are to develop blind spots that increase their risk of failure.

A recent Gallup survey of more than one million employees found that poorly managed workgroups are an average of 50 % less productive and 44 % less profitable than well-managed groups.
