Wow -- what a month in history, I can't help but get excited about how the web is adding productivity to Democracy.

While Obama was being sworn in, millions of people from around the world were watching online while communicating with their fristory! Sure, we are all hopeful and excited about our new President, but being a technology junkieends and colleagues on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and thousands of other online methods. Many will suggest that this election was so brilliantly run online, that it was one of the success factors helping to elect our new leader. In addition, on the new www.Whitehouse.gov site it says: "President Obama is committed to creating the most open and accessible administration in American history," and the site invites Americans to add their voice to the future progress.

Our industry, online recruiting, in many ways helped pave the way for this progress. Online recruiting was one of the first viable business applications on the Internet, and it has created millions of jobs worldwide, while it has helped add productivity, speed and transparency to a major business function (finding talent). We are at the very early stages, and our team at Onrec is here to help keep you up to date with the rapid pace of change and evolution.
