US-based power utility Calpine has appointed Laura Guthrie as the new senior vice president of human resources. Previously, she was vice president of human resources at Hercules Offshore.

Albemarle Corporation, names Darian K. Rich as Vice President, Human Resources, effective immediately. He replaces Jack P. Harsh, who is retiring from the company.
