So Many Regulations, So Little Time
(September 16, 2008) Back in 2002 we first started reporting on the Sarbanes-Oxley, the public company accounting reform and investor protection act, as an entire industry came into being to help companies implement the Act's requirements.

If you can not be in DC this Thursday and Friday - you can attend the Conference live online. You can also watch the recorded Conference one session at a time in your office. You can also get Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for your efforts.
We may seem overly excited about this Conference but it really is great to get straight forward legal information from people that know about prosecuting you for non-compliance. They can be sure you are ontrack before there is a problem. There is some proverb about prevention that would fit here perfectly.
Take a moment, go to the site and check it out or give them a call and see if they have materials that will be helpful to you.
On a final note, a deeper look into regulation (links above)comes to mind but more important may be getting out of the office and talking to others that are working in your field. It reinvigorated us.
