Combating Stress in the Workplace

The stress that employees face in their personal lives is only just a part of their struggle to maintain a healthy work/life balance. When everyday workplace stress is added to the equation, this balance can seem unattainable, and productivity suffers. As an employer, there IS something you can do to help your employees take control of their daily stress management while protecting your organization from the high costs related to lost productivity, absenteeism and turnover, and even increased health care costs.

Sandra Turner, Ph.D., Director of EY/Assist at Ernst & Young, shares her best practices for combating stress in the workplace. With tax season in full swing, this can be an especially difficult time for employees, and Ernst & Young has developed some great solutions. She will be joined by Barbara McMahon, Practice Leader at LifeCare, who will present valuable information about recent trends in workplace stress and its effects on employers and employees alike.
