(May 18, 2005) - These days, we're experimenting with Google's gmail. The service provides 2 gigabytes of email storage and stellar spam filtration along with a range of other Google services. The move away from domain personalized mail comes as a result of complete data overload.

The Google approach is to make the email database very searchable. You tag, categorize and search. Hopefully, the system learns with you.

It's "hopefully" because, as near as we can tell, one persons "spam" is another's treasure (well, at least sometimes). We're very interested in being aware of who is using bulk email or targeted lists for product promotion. We hope to see a spam filtration system that will let us keep gems like these:
