Patel, reportedly placed by Wavelength in a hospital in Queensland, Australia, is better known as Dr.Death. Dr. Patel has been linked to the serious injury or death of at least 14 patients at Bundaberg Base Hospital.

Though rarely appreciated, recruiters, internal and external, are responsible for the safety of the business, the people in it and the customers. The simplest, and easiest to forget, part of recruiting is the background check. This little story underlines the critical importance of this overlooked function.
