(January 26, 2005) - A number of readers let us know that our surveillance on RSS developments has been less than stellar. In other words, Craig's is not the only RSS Syndicator
in the job board marketplace. Slowly but surely, the change is coming.
For instance, NatureJobs is in the process of integrating RSS distribution with a semantic search
engine. (Their team's technical paper, The Role of RSS in Science Publishing, is well worth a read.) NatureJobs is the kind of targeted delivery that we constantly rave about. There's a nice
writeup about the RSS service.
Here are a number of useful examples. RSS is spreading into our world faster than we imagined.
We've occasionally mentioned RSSJobs. This service allows a user to create searches on various job boards and then receive the results in an RSS format.
Jobs.Feedster.com is a beta service designed to offer an index of all job feeds.
