The technology is simple and easily available through companies like Microsoft, Oracle, FileMaker and others. In fact, a successful industry sub-segment has developed featuring about 30 companies who do nothing but provide Job Board services through the ASP (remote software leasing) business model. Many other operations, from CareerCast to BrassRing Systems, offer Job-Board-In-A-Box services as a component of a broader suite of offerings. Again, the technology is simple. It involves a Web-accessible database and an inventory of job listings.
