Workers, age 50 and above, are staying in their jobs because of economic reasons but are getting little encouragement from their employers, according to a report from The Conference Board. Despite an aging work force, most companies are not actively encouraging their older, more seasoned workers to remain with them, and deny them developmental opportunities because of their age.
