(October 17, 2002) -  The first time we met Kevin Wheeler, he was a student in one of our early seminars. In those days, we traveled around the country teaching the ins and outs of web-recruiting. Kevin, at the time, was the senior HR executive with Charles Schwab. Frankly, it felt like he came to the class and said to himself, "If these guys can do this, I can too." It wasn't long before he started popping up at conferences as a speaker. 

A half dozen years later, he is widely recognized as an authoritative voice in both HR and related aspects of corporate education and training. He has, by far, the most integrated view of the relationship between corporate education and Human Capital Development/Acquisition of anyone in the game. 

Kevin is global, his sphere of influence is global and his company is called (no accident) Global Learning Resources. It seems like every time we've tried to get a hold of him recently, he's been in Australia or some exotic spot in Asia. We've heard that his executive briefs provide customers with a solid view and actionable data.

He is one of the very few people whose work has appeared here in the Electronic Recruiting News. His column on CRM sparked a great deal of thinking both at interbiznet and in the industry at large.
