DICE

DICE is a finely tuned service available only to recruiting companies. Their legacy, a BBS system with FTP style file downloading puts them in a difficult position. As the premier electronic placement service of only two years ago, DICE is making a slow entry on to the web. There's a great lesson here in the timing of capital expenditures as a strategic move. In general, the company gets very high marks for its community of users (similar to CEWeekly's readers).
