Period.The strategy gives them room to innovate in some interesting areas. NationJob is the only player of substance to have really focused on developing their horizontal (functional area) distribution. Poke around the net a bit and you'll see lots of links to subsets of NationJob's overall database.The company builds traffic by emailing clients whose criteria matches a new job posting. The service, called PJ Scout, is branded cleverly as an old west "scout". The technology is simple, the results provocative.NationJob has also done a great job sewing up distribution alliances throughout the Midwest. A close look at their client list shows solid relationships with a number of public terminals, newspapers and libraries. NationJob is focused squarely on distribution.
