Monsanto Careers Page

We use Monsanto (in its current form) as an example of the best approach to take when starting an integration project. Monsanto, a heavily diversified manufacturer and chemical concern, has plants and facilities around the globe. There radically decentralized business philosophy makes them an interesting case study in the use of the web for recruiting purposes. The low overhead, highly decentralized conglomerate, while a theoretical perfect fit for the inherent decentralization of Web technology, poses several serious tactical issues. As you can see from the Monsanto site, they've had to refrain from electronic distribution of incoming resumes while they balance the cross divisonal investment problem. We like the basic design and architecture of the site. We also think that it's solid proof of the value of incremental development in online recruiting.
