Salary.com, Inc. announced its ranking of 292 among the Technology Fast 500, Deloitte LLP's list of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period from 2004-2008.

TrueBlue, Inc., the leading provider of blue-collar staffing with revenue of approximately $1.4 billion in 2008, reported net income of $8.2 million or $0.19 per diluted share for the quarter ended Sept. 25, 2009, compared to net income of $16.3 million or $0.38 per diluted share for the third quarter of 2008. Revenue for the quarter was $285 million, a decrease of 27 percent compared to the third quarter of 2008.

Google and Twitter signed a search deal, Google's Marissa Mayer announced on a company blog Wednesday.
Yesterday, Microsoft announced a similar deal with Twitter and Facebook.
But while Microsoft's Twitter search engine is already up at Bing.com/Twitter, Google's integration is still months away.
Marissa writes, "We look forward to having a product that showcases how tweets can make search better in the coming months."
