Internet will survive economic woes better than other media
eMarketer has revised its Internet ad spend projections, estimating that advertisers will spend $24.9 billion online this year in the US. That estimate is slightly lower than the one eMarketer put out in March 2008, which said that US online advertising spending would reach $25.9 billion in 2008. But it is important to note that the lowered estimate still represents an increase of 17.4% over 2007 spending.

Survey Says
A recent survey by OnePoll on behalf of HE@Work shows that these feelings of under-achievement are evident in the workplace in the UK, with more than 72% of employees believing they haven't yet reached their full potential at work.
University-endorsed career network Experience, Inc., released the results of its most recent survey, which examined how Gen Y views green employers.
The results showed overwhelmingly that Gen Y is making environmentally-conscious decisions when it comes to where they want to work:
--81% of Gen Y say it is important to work for a green company
--79% say they would be more likely to accept a job offer at a green company over another company,
when evaluating two similar job offers
--4 out of 5 respondents reported they want to work at a green company
--16% are currently working or interning at a green company.
