Survey Says
Facing increasing competition for leadership talent, America's companies are investing in new efforts to retain their executives, however, the results of these initiatives are decidedly mixed, according to a recent survey conducted by ExecuNet, the executive business, career, and recruiting network.
While the survey of 1,597 employed executives with an average annual salary of more than $206,000 reveals that 61% are satisfied or very satisfied with their current job, professional fulfillment varies significantly by function, with MIS/IT and Sales executives the most likely to be unhappy.
Top Five Reasons Executives Are Unhappy At Work are:
