EnterConnect Inc. launches Human Capital Management (HCM) software applications on the global software-as-a-service (SaaS) marketplace, SOAapps.com. HCM is one of ten service-oriented application categories launching in 2008. EnterConnect is launching the HCM category on SOAapps in a joint effort with its Talent Management Application partners: Cornerstone OnDemand, HRsmart, StepStone Solutions, and Taleo.
Novotus, an Austin-based Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) company, has been selected by Superior Energy Services, Inc. to outsource its recruiting and staffing functions. Superior Energy Services, a global provider of specialized oilfield services and equipment. Novotus will be providing full-lifecycle talent acquisition and global recruitment solutions including employment branding, enterprise career portal and applicant tracking technology.
Integrated people management software Softscape announced that it appreciates
the decision by the District Court for the Northern District of California to limit the preliminary injunction requested by SuccessFactors.
Executive search firm Boyden announced that it will be reuniting its executive search and interim management businesses in the UK and expanding the firm's interim management division in Europe. In addition, Boyden has acquired Execbank Ltd, a UK-based boutique interim management business set up by Patrique Habboo. The firm has hired Tim Blackstone to further strengthen its interim management offering.

Staffing services provider Westaff, Inc. announced that the company completed the sale of its United Kingdom operations on March 31, 2008, to a privately held company for cash. The sale included Westaff's U.K. headquarters in Gloucester, GL, and the Company's 25 U.K. offices.
