Personified, its new subsidiary specializing in talent acquisition and management consulting, and will manage the day to day operations of the new company. Most recently, Delaney served as the Chief Sales Officer for CareerBuilder.com, leading the Enterprise and Recruiter Business Unit teams. In 2006, she started the company's Human Capital Consulting Division, the springboard to Personified.
Workstream Inc. appoints Dr. Jeffrey Pfeffer to its board of directors. Dr. Pfeffer is a Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
Janet Parker, an executive vice president of Birmingham's
Regions Financial Corp. and the 2007 Society for Human Resource Management board chair, is appointed by President George W. Bush to a recently established White House Advisory Council to advocate financial literacy. She will serve on the committee, which will advise Bush and the Secretary of the Treasury on ways to improve financial education of youth in schools and adults in the workplace, to promote improved access to financial services and to conduct research on financial knowledge among several other objectives.
Manpower Inc. names Emma van Rooyen the Vice President of Global Marketing, effective February 15. She was a Principal at the global management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Ken Hunt also joins Manpower as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer.
