Top 5: eQuest Announces the Five Best Free Websites to Post US Job Advertisements on the InterneteQuest, the global leader in job posting and Internet management services, announced it has completed its analysis of hundreds of free job boards to determine the most effective free posting websites in the United States.
The boards were measured using several technology indicators that calculate overall candidate traffic patterns and job board advertising effectiveness. They do not indicate hiring results.
Results were measured during a 3-month study between the months of June 1, 2007 through August 31, 2007 - on a sample of 15,000 job postings delivered to each job board in the eQuest network.
Jobster sealed the number one position with over 36,000 responding candidates.
The Ladders made an impressive jump from last quarter's statistics coming in 2nd with just over 33,000 responding candidates.
Surprisingly, GoogleBase came in 3rd place with over 21,000 candidates responding to job advertisements.
SimplyHired garnered 4th place with a respectable 9,100 respondents.
Indeed.com dropped from 1st to 5th place only returning 5,500 candidates.
The study eliminated job boards that distribute its database of jobs to other job sites to artificially increase their candidate traffic flow.
eQuest established the free job board certification program in April, 2006. The program is the first job distribution company to harvest traffic trending data on job boards. Only job boards meeting eQuest's strict standards will be awarded certification and admission into the eQuest FreeBug Network – an unlimited network offered to its customers.
FreeBug is an acronym for Free Board User Group.
About eQuest eQuest provides domestic and international job-posting delivery and complete job board management services including candidate sourcing metrics and job board evaluations, job board consultation and planning, job board negotiating, and billing control. Hundreds of job boards are supported in the eQuest network reaching over 180 countries and territories worldwide. eQuest is one of the most recognized and admired brands in the human resource industry.

Deep Release: The Untapped Market: The Federal Government is Waiting for Businesses to Enter the Fray
The world's biggest customer is the US federal government. Fedmarket.com is opening the door to small- and medium-sized businesses with GSA eLab™, the easiest and fastest way to jump into that big market.
Every April, we file tax returns. A few of us are patient enough to complete the tedious and complex paper process, but most of us realize that choosing the right help reduces stress and time, so we turn to a "box," some form of computer software for tax forms. The Fedmarket.com GSA eLab™ has been developed as a "box" for increasing a company's speed to market when dealing with the federal government.
The Washington Post recently reported that the country's defense and security spending is escalating more than at any time in the past fifty years. The total size of these markets is difficult to pin down, but economists and the Washington-based press estimate annual federal contract spending to be about $420 billion or more. The federal government is, in fact, the world's biggest customer.
Many businesses are trying to reach that lucrative fruit hanging from the government tree. Though the business looks obtainable to the uninitiated, the process for jumping into great contracts can be long and arduous. And, the fruit may be higher on the tree than it first appears.
To win prime government contracts, a business owner has to have a GSA advantage that of being a GSA (General Services Administration) schedule holder. It's the application process for that designation, according to Richard White of Fedmarket.com, that causes small- and medium-sized businesses to lose months of time and suffer so many delays that they often decide to search for other orchards.
Fedmarket's software automates the application process. In addition, Fedmarket provides a 3-day GSA eLab™. The outcome of the GSA eLab™ is a completed application that has achieved rave reviews by attendees and by GSA personnel.
Eric Dodson, President of onShore Development, knows the value the GSA eLab™ provided to his company when he states "I tried on and off for a year to complete the GSA solicitation on my own. The experts at Fedmarket took the time to understand my business and walked me through the process of completing the solicitation in less than three days. There is absolutely no way I could have completed the process without the Fedmarket team."
Richard White, CEO and author of Rolling the Dice in DC, is achieving his goal of creating a "box" to cut through the red tape for small- and medium-sized business so they can enter the large federal market orchard and start picking the fruit. The next GSA eLab™ is July 10th-13th in Bethesda, Maryland and for west coast companies, GSA eLab™ will be held September 25, 2007 in Las Vegas.
