Employee Blogs 4
It's
occasionally easy to forget that there's a much larger universe outside of
Recruitopia. Our burgeoning conversation on the public - personal boundaries of
blogging is being reinforced by current events. Here's how it starts:
ValleyWag today
suggests that one of FM's conversational marketing campaigns is hurting
the editorial integrity of our authors. It says that Microsoft paid them to
write, which is simply not true. They were invited to join a conversation
with readers about Microsoft's new theme, and they did so, but they didn't
write about it on their blogs. The only money they get from Microsoft is
from ads running on their sites, for which they're paid by the page view. (Federated

The QuietAgent gadvert is an online banner advertisement that upon a click turns into a mini-application or ‘gadget', allowing people to actually join the QuietAgent service while remaining on the website of an advertising provider or partner.

Deep Release:
New Job Site Salesjobfinder.com Combines Major Job Board Features with Craigslist Simplicity
Sales job searches and job listings in the sales job niche have a new home, Salesjobfinder.com, which focuses exclusively on sales jobs. Employers get a 1-month free trial to Salesjobfinder.com. Tired of Monster and Careerbuilder loading you up with unqualified candidates? Log on now.
Salesjobfinder.com officially launches on July 1, 2007, and opens up a new, easy-to use online site for finding sales jobs or finding qualified sales job candidates. Employers who post jobs to the site get a free 30-day trial period.
"I wanted to create a job board that has the basic features of Monster and Careerbuilder combined with the simplicity of Craigslist," said Brian Mullins, Salesjobfinder.com founder and CEO. "By concentrating only on sales jobs, both job seekers and employers can have a very focused experience when using the site."
The $299 a month fee is a fraction of the cost to post jobs on the larger job boards and allows unlimited postings and database searches. This opens up use of Salesjobfinder.com to small business owners as well as Fortune 1000 sales organizations. The key benefits to employers are simplicity and focus. Everybody who responds to a posting will be 100% focused on a sales job.
"If you are looking for a sales job, you need a one-stop portal for sales job listings," said the founder of Salesjobfinder.com. "Unlike some job boards for sales people, after the first month, we will charge our employers to post jobs, which helps ensure that all postings are legitimate sales jobs and not multi-level marketing opportunities."
The goal of a hiring manager or recruiter is to fill positions as quickly as possible with the best candidates at the lowest cost per hire. SalesJobFinder.com helps reduce the amount of time spent sorting through unqualified resumes by delivering a smaller number of highly qualified responses to each posting.
Mullins, who as a sales director spent seven years recruiting, says that sorting through unqualified resumes takes time away from your core business. "I would post an ad on Monster, Hot Jobs or Careerbuilder and get a high ratio of unqualified resumes to qualified resumes," said Mullins.
He started to have more success with niche job boards, and even more success with the low cost job postings offered by Craigslist. As a result, he decided to launch a site that was simple and straightforward, while at the same time offering some of the more advanced functionality of the larger job boards.
About Salesjobfinder.com
Salesjobfinder.com, based in Chicago, was founded in 2007 by Brian Mullins, whose background as a sales director led him to believe that employers focused on sales recruiting should have an easier and more focused way to find qualified sales job candidates. He also wanted job searchers to be able to find real sales jobs and not waste time searching through business opportunities. Salesjobfinder.com clients include TimePlus Payroll, EFinancial, Binc Staffing, Per4mance and other employers focused on hiring quality sales people. To find out more, visit www.Salesjobfinder.com.
