Deep Release:
Application for 2008 Canada's Top 100 Employers Now Available
The application package for the 2008 Canada's Top 100 Employers competition is now available. Now in its 8th year, the annual competition recognizes companies and organizations that lead their industries in providing exceptional workplaces and progressive employee benefits.
The competition is open to all employers -- large or small, public-sector or private -- that offer innovative programs to attract and keep talented employees. Employers are compared to others in their industry and winners are announced in a special issue of Maclean's magazine in October. Detailed reasons for each employer's selection are published in a paperback by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and on its popular search engine for jobs in Canada.
Applicants are automatically considered for a series of other high-profile competitions held with a variety of non-profit and media partners, including: Canada's Top 10 Family-Friendly Employers, The Financial Post's Top 10 Companies to Work For, Best Employers for New Canadians, Top Employers for Canadians Over 50 and Canada's Most Earth-Friendly Employers. Applicants also are considered for a series of regional "top employer" competitions, announced by 22 large newspaper partners each October. Employers complete a single application to be considered for all competitions.
To obtain the 2008 application package, please request an application online. The deadline for completed applications is June 15, 2007.
