CallCenterJobs.com announced that it would be a sponsor of Call Center Week 2007 at the Venetian Resort & Hotel in Las Vegas from June 25-29. CallCenterJobs.com is working with the International Quality and Productivity Center to promote the event. LatPro.com was the main sponsor for 2 job fairs hosted by the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (NSHP). The Feb. 8 event in Dallas drew more than 50 employers and 400 candidates. Talent Zoo, which includes TalentZoo.com, announced staff increases and is scheduled to hire another 30 employees during the first two quarters of 2007. Annual profits at the Atlanta-based company have grown by double-digits over the past decade. "Our strategy has always been to steadily grow our business by filling customer needs with superior products and services," said Rick Myers, Founder and CEO of Talent Zoo. "This common sense approach has allowed Talent Zoo to be profitable and grow year over year every year since inception." The company also announced that it would be redesigning its job board to make it even more user-friendly.
ComputerWork.com, which targets technology professionals, said it had doubled its staff from 5 to 10; and will add an additional 5 people by the end of 2007. In 2006, ComputerWork.com was acquired by JobServe, a London-based organization. JobServe's U.S. office will share the Cleveland hub with ComputerWork.com.
