USA:
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce on March 14 will hold a statewide workforce literacy summit
in Indianapolis. The event is aimed at helping employers identify workforce challenges and to
connect them with training resources. A chamber study in 2005 showed that about 1.23 million
workers in Indiana have literacy skills that don't meet the minimum standard for employment.

Australia:
Minister for Primary Industries and Fisheries Tim Mulherin launched a new online tool that will
identify what training is needed, and where, for Queensland?s rural industries. "The Skills
Telegraph is an innovative web-based database that will collect information on training and
skilling needs to target investment in training," Mr Mulherin said at Tolga in North Queensland
following today's Community Cabinet at Atherton. The launch is a key initiative in an industry
engagement strategy focusing on workforce development for primary industries.

Deep Release:
TopJobSites.com Announces the Updated Top Job Site Rankings in Each of Seven Job Categories.
Top job sites show a decrease in overall share of Internet users throughout the world.
A majority of job sites showed a downward trend relative to overall rankings of other Internet sites during the past month, according to recent Alexa rankings published by TopJobSites.com. 64.5% percent of job sites show a ranking decrease and 35.5% of job sites had a ranking increase. The TopJobSites.com Ranking Index was down 9.03% overall.
The only category to show a net gain was College, with a 3.66% category gain and 60% of the college sites showing a ranking gain.
The overall category leaders are: Monster.com for General Job Sites, CollegeGrad.com for College Job Sites, The Ladders for Executive Job Sites, Dice.com for Niche Job Sites, LatPro for Diversity Job Sites, naukri.com for International (English) Job Sites and ChinaHR.com for International (non-English) Job Sites.
