A poll of 530 senior executives reveals that 59% believe their company has a workplace diversity policy in place. Respondents were asked, "Does your company have an official ‘diversity in the workplace' policy?" Full results show:
Yes – 59%
No – 34%
Do not know – 7%

Worldwide HR service spending will experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.6% through 2009 to reach $113.4 bln, as compared to $71.9 bln in 2004. HR business process outsourcing (BPO) is the fastest-growing segment of HR services and
predicts that it will grow at a CAGR of 16.1% to reach over $16 bln in the US by 2009.
Securities Industry Employment Trends: added a meager1,800 new jobs in the first quarter of 2005. This lags the overall US employment (which
came in at half of what was forecast in March) by a couple of tenths of a percent. It is the slowest quarterly growth for the sector since last July.

A majority of employed executives are not happy with their current job and many of the unsatisfied are planning to explore new opportunities imminently. According to the survey of 505 employed executives, 61% are not satisfied with their current
job. Of those who are not satisfied, 77% plan to change jobs in the next six months. The primary reasons why employed executives are looking to move on include:

Lack of challenge/personal growth (20%);

Limited advancement opportunities (18%);

Compensation (13%);

Poor company culture (11%); and

Boss not a good match (10%).
