Trends
Federal Reserve Board chairman, Alan Greenspan, told the
Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs
that over the past two decades the supply of highly skilled workers has failed to keep
up with a rise in the demand. During the same period the demand for
lesser-skilled workers has declined.
