BAJobs.com launches redesigned site. Site changes were based on feedback
from JobHunters about what they want and don't want in a local job board.
Hire.com introduces the Talent Relationship Management
suite of products and services. The company plans to roll out a series of product,
partnership and customer announcements in the coming weeks and months.
The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence, offers
the Passport to Teaching certification designed to recruit career-changers
into the teaching profession. Current projections say that America's public schools will need 2.2 to 2.4 million new teachers over the next
ten years.
New Combinations
Ohio–based CareerBoard, specializing in connecting local candidates with local employers, and
PsyMax Solutions, a Max-Ventures
portfolio company, have formed a partnership to deliver candidate selection tools to enable
employers to make high quality hiring decisions.
STI Knowledge, an Atlanta-based provider of business process outsourcing services, acquired
Symphony Data, an India-based business process outsourcing company. The acquisition allows Symphony to
offer healthcare
administration, claims processing, customer interaction, technical help desk and
other industries' knowledge-based services.
