Reveille
CareerBank.com, an accounting, finance, banking, mortgage, and insurance career center network, announced that its sales more than doubled in 2004 and expects growth to continue in 2005 as the economy and job market continue to improve.
Recruitforce.com, a provider of online recruiting solutions, signed its 100th customer, Longs Drug Stores. In 2004, Recruitforce.com also extended its product offerings, significantly adding to customization and configuration options as well as integration and extension capabilities via its Web Services API.
From the Trenches
Sarbanes-Oxley Act, federal legislation
passed in 2002 to overhaul the way public companies are run is having an impact. It requires independent
contractors in Board of Director positions. This has created opportunities for Executive
Recruitiers that can fill these slots. It has also given rise to new companies that assist companies
in meeting the federal regulations.
