New Combinations
NHC Group, a privately held operator of online career sites, completes the acquisition of the online career portal serving the over-50 talent pool SeniorJobBank, whose operations will be relocated from Florida to NHC's facility in Marlborough, Mass.
Adecco, the Swiss temporary employment group, plans to buy 50.5 per cent of French human resources management agency, Altedia.
Reveille
Taleo Corporation, provider of on-demand talent management solutions and software service provider, announces the Taleo Talent Index, developed as an indicator of major talent trends within Fortune 500 companies, such as job stability, talent mobility and worker confidence. For December 2004, the Taleo Talent Index shows 275,126 positions filled in the U.S. among Fortune 500 companies, with 183,640 positions filled with hires from outside the company and 91,486 positions filled with internal hires.
Adecco and its sister firm Ajilon Group, rejoin the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) after leaving in 2001, complaining that the trade body did not effectively represent their interests. However, the two groups, which includes Office Angels, Computer People, Roevin, and Jonathan Wren, have renewed their subscription after agreeing with new measures to represent the needs of larger agencies.
The Endurance Group broadens its business development services to include offerings for Legal, Accounting and Human Resource firms.
