Speaking with Roanoke Times, he explains that driving that shortage will be 3 main factors combining into a perfect storm for American businessThe exit of some 70 million baby boomers from the market; the short tenure of today's employees, who are more mobile and much more willing to switch companies and locations; and an increased shortage of knowledge workers as the country is moving from a manufacturing environment to a more skill-oriented environment.
