Virus Update
GeeksOnCall tells us of a
new rapidly spreading virus. The Bagel (aka Beagle) hides inside an executable file attached to an email, usually from a known and trusted address. The subject line reads "Hi." The message reads something like "Hi! This is a test. (and a random string of letters) Testy test." When the user opens the attachment, the worm installs itself into the Windows operating system. In addition to its harvesting and self-replicating abilities, the Bagel-A worm also attempts to install a Trojan on your computer.
