According to the Alexa rankings, December was not a good month for job site rankings. Only 12 percent of job sites were up for the month and a whopping 88 percent were down. Of the top 10 sites in 7 categories, only 7 sites had a ranking increase. The rankings can be seen on TopJobSites.com.

New Monthly Index
Hudson Employment Index, from the Hudson Highland
Group, is a monthly measure of employee attitudes on critical work issues, including career opportunities, job satisfaction, and workplace performance. The first index finds that despite general satisfaction with their jobs, 60 percent of U.S. workers would seriously consider changing positions given the opportunity–even those (52%) who say they are happy on the job. The survey data also reveals that 28 percent of all employees and 24 percent of managers are currently looking for another job. However, 86 percent of all respondents say it is somewhat or very likely that they will be working for the same employer in a year. It is interesting to consider the the implication of this.
