New Combinations
U.K-based Recruitment International reports that international search networks SearchNet International and Euro-Recruit will merge to create a group of 25 members worldwide.

Reveille
Talent Software, a provider of talent management solutions for the China market, will integrate the psychometric profiling of HRObjective into its applicant tracking system, Talent.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to enhance their employment prospects by adding a self-screening verification to their online resume from a new agreement between Entersect and JobSniper. Entersect's employee screening and verification services of CareerScreen will be launched under the name Veri-Sniper, which will be distributed nationwide using the technology infrastructure of JobSniper.

Results from an employment survey finds that of the more than 1,700 participants, students selected salary, followed by benefits, location, hours/schedule, and reputation of employer as order of importance. The findings also show that 57 percent prefer email as the preferred method of contact and 71 percent said the Internet was a primary tool for finding out about internship/job opportunities. Wanted: Nasal Rangers… specially trained to sniff out smells and determine which of them are too stinky. Training them cost about $15,500, with another $66,000 spent on equipment. Nasal Rangers must have a good, but not too sensitive, sense of smell. Each ranger, who passes certification, receives training a patch identifying them as a Nasal Ranger.
