According to Jury Verdict Research, Employment Practice Liability: Jury Award Trends and Statistics - 2003 Edition, the national jury award median for employment practice liability cases, which includes discrimination and retaliation claims, rose 14 percent in 2002, from $175,000 in 2001 to $200,000. The 63-page study showed that of all discrimination types, age discrimination and disability discrimination plaintiffs won the most money.
