Desjardins Group, one of Quebec's largest financial institutions.
Recruiting Solutions International, a provider of modular, Web-native, recruiting and human capital management software solutions, unveils the redesigned WorkforceERP.
Lathem Time Corporation releases ShiftPlan EZ, an employee scheduling tool designed to plan and print employees' schedules with just a few mouse clicks, and which integrates with its PayClock EZ product and Intuit's QuickBooks Pro and Premier.
In Case You Didn't Know Reuters reports that William Poole, president of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank, said that the U.S. labor force was significantly underemployed and suggested a rapid pace of growth would be needed to take up the slack.

From yesterday's edition of the Workforce Week newsletter: "In last week's newsletter, the bulletin-board post highlighted was from a user who was upset about what he said was the "botched" installation of Recruitsoft. Some users pointed out that this user may have actually been a Recruitsoft competitor posing as a supposedly disgruntled customer. We don't know if this is the case or not--it may very well be--but do know it's a good reminder to be slightly skeptical about the motives of a few bulletin-board questions and answers ...".
