Who's On Top
The monthly Alexa Rankings show that almost all of the major sites were trending upward in their Alexa rankings - 73 sites (80%) were up overall, 16 (18%) were down and 2 (2%) were unchanged. Among the top sites, almost all of increased: the top 18 general sites, the top 8 college sites, 4 of the top 5 executive sites, the top 7 niche sites, and all of the diversity (3) and international (13) sites. Monster is still rated #1 overall, but, SEEK replaced Monster UK as the #1 International Site and CareerJournal.com took over the #2 position in the Executive Sites category from Chief Monster. Based in San Francisco, Gigslist.org, is an online magazine and directory specializing in jobs and other opportunities and resource information for the arts and entertainment industries.

Reveille
Job-posting distribution company EQuest will offer European online recruiting services to the North American market, including its U.S. customers, delivered through the sites of StepStone, a European online recruiting company, and its European partners.

Monster.com and the NCAA will develop a co-branded online website for student-athletes designed to provide career resources and services.
