W32.Bugbear@mm is a HIGH threat, mass-mailing worm that is rapidly spreading to Windows users. The subject and attachment name of incoming emails are randomly chosen. The attachment will have a double extension ending in .exe, .scr, or .pif. McAfee and Symantec Security Response have released virus definitions to protect against this threat, and a removal tool to assist in recovering systems already infected.

ComputerJobs.com, employment Web site for Information Technology professionals and those who employ them, unveiled two new specialty job sites today that feature IT jobs within the Healthcare and Finance industries.

The DiceDiversity program is designed to help customers reach job candidates with diverse backgrounds by cross-posting open positions diversity sites on the Web. The Kansas City Star reports that an Aquila Inc. employee was told not to return to work after complaining in an e-mail to CEO Richard Green Jr. about the $7.6 million severance package given to Green's brother. Green, as part of his efforts to improve morale, e-mailed Aquila employees, encouraging them to send their "thoughts and concerns" about the company. One employee took Green up on his offer and ended up getting canned.
